Sooo… it’s not absolutely horrible. If you think otherwise, let me just say this: TOG s02.
But it’s not good either. It’s mediocre, so far 5/10.
Such a waste. Then again, it seems to be a theme with manhwa and webtoon adaptations.

I think anime, in general, is starting to hit an all-time low, with most shows being low-budget trash story garbage with only one/two shows being watchable each season.

The audio during the intro seemed unusually loud.

Opening song makes me remember exciting OP of Gurren Lagann and Air Gear.
Some do complain about anime quality, and though I’m getting bored by too meek series or use of computer generated 3D parts in 2D anime (even though computer generated 2D is possible more and more by each day), adaptations from korean works or chinese ones are somewhat exciting and here and there pops out also some serious stuff worth watching like this - no matter the animation quality, knowing what this series is about, it should be good, unless the made it like fancy LOGH.
You should also understand that manga wont be as precise as novel, the same when comparing manga and anime.
Just know that opening made me want to come here, which is half a success already, well at least for me - I’m getting this FLACs to my music library XD
Oh, also wanted to mention, post Ukraine war actually made positive impact on anime content from my view, I actually see ‘‘all time low’’ of anime right before that time.
Its not just about getting war themed anime, but overall content moved to more exciting stuff from just school romance.
Wish there would be adaptations for likes of I Am Really Not the Demon Lord! / Iron Ladies / Magic Emperor… some rofl / deep / hellsing themes in them.

@Killuaalt another case of me totally agreeing w/ you except for the good shows this season part. Share me a couple because other than Kijin and One Piece I’m not invested at all
