This woke adaptation makes this anime lose meaning, I mean if vampires have to meet their "DESTINED PARTNER", why our vampire doesn't even think that our main character could be his destined partner?
Simple in Japanese they say "UNMEI NO ONNA" which isn't "destined partner" but literally "destined woman" or better "woman of destiny", and our vampire thinks that our main character is a male so he can't be his WOMAN of destiny.
