My heart, she is sad, but my cock, he is engorged.
I am happy that this classic is properly restored!
Thank you for this. Dragon Ball without Toriyama isn't the same, and when Masako Nozawa retires or sadly passes away we lose the original Goku VA. RIP Mr. Toriyama 😢
Muchas Gracias por esto!!!!
RIP to the legend. <3
Kino, thank you for your service o7

Thanks, Q.E.P.D. Akira Toriyama.
@Impakt Do you have a DBZ TS Collection from BS-Fuji or Tokyo MX and could you share that? Unfortunately all torrents are dead.
Does this still has krillin leg running error and other shennaigans present in all the open matte masters? Someone please make a beautiful not very bloated 2-3 gb 720p encode of this. RIP Someone please post some screenshots. Do you have 35 mm scan of 1993 plan to eradicate the saiyans?
@RyzakiT ![alt text](https://i.slow.pics/xbflDPMY.gif)
@RyzakiT This is a brand new scan so no it doesn't have the fps issue that all the FUNi releases have. There are screenshots on Kineko's Twitter. The rest of your comments are dumb but at least you threw a RIP in there somewhere
Stellar remaster! Genuinely love this and Kineko did a fantastic job! Not sure if I need to recheck my torrent, but I noticed at around the 7:20 mark on the Japanese audio, after Muten Roshi says that he's just bald, it cuts to a reaction shot of Goku and Kuririn and there's no audio, just a slight hissing sound. I switched to the dub, and there's audio there where you can hear the waves in the background. I'll recheck my torrent, but was curious if anyone else got that? It's obviously not a huge error, but something that I noticed since the music just cuts but so does everything else in the scene.
@KingOfBunnies The only edited track was the dub, which was remastered from the original vhs tape. The issue you speak of is most likely a source problem on the Japanese DVD audio. This is good that its been pointed out since I can see what can be done to potentially fix this.
@Krycek7o2 I assumed it wasn't an edit. I just wasn't sure if my torrent download messed up and that's why it was quiet. But I wanted to point it out regardless. Rechecking my torrent, and playing it again, it seems like a source issue, yeah. Hope something can be done to fix it, because it's a weird problem to be there in the first place from the DVD audio, but Toei has done weirder/worse things with their material, so I guess I can't be too shocked.
@KingOfBunnies Thank you for pointing this out. I am already looking into this issue. It is possibly a source issue, I am confirming if its from a sync point or from the master file. Sadly, the file I am looking at is the BD audio and it there too, so it might be Toei's source. ~Update~ So, I checked all our sources, and after watching the scene a few times. Its intentional silence. Its all part of the joke. The scene in question has Krillin stating that Roshi is bald for a reason, but Roshi replies, I'm just bald. Derailing his argument. The silence is part of the humor. Why the silence is not in the dub, FUNi either - added themselves, since they did have a no silence rule back in the day - or the ME track they got already had it mixed in. In either case, thank you for posting this. We learned something new about these mixes today and that's not time wasted.
I figured the silence was the humor, but thought it was just weird that ALL the sounds were cut. No ambient sounds like seagulls or the ocean, which is something even Toei usually does. Especially because the sound cut is so immediate. Interesting that the total silence is intentional. Glad I was able to at least help the community learn something about these mixes. Even if I do feel kind of silly for pointing out something that was intentional!
R.I.P Master Akira, [Kineko Video] Thank you so much for this piece of museum, and can you upload de OP and ED with the original full quality here, please?
@Krycek7o2 If you're still here, I did find something else, At around 27:02. Goku saves Kuririn from falling. They're talking and for a few games, the video goes black for a few frames. Then comes back. The audio keeps going. The way this goes, it may have been something with the film? I'm not sure, but wanted you to be aware!
@KingofBunnies I know this one, it's because the film scan is missing those few frames. The frames were rendered as black space so that the audio wouldn't have to be cut to remain in sync. If we use this source for our future movies release, then we'll try and restore the frames.
@RyzakiT: STOP been LAZY and start to WORK ! This way you can buy a bigger HDD, new monitor, speedy Internet, etc, etc.
Thank you so much for this!!
@iKaos RIP those frames
