#### The Ballad of Horndogs ![ChainSawMan_Exhibition](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1007409865473396828/1119756106592440320/ChainsawMan_Exhibition.jpg) *** Muxed this for my personal watching, thought I could share as well. This contains [VCB-Studio](https://nyaa.si/view/1673616)'s encode and [GJM](https://nyaa.si/user/GoodJobMedia)'s subtitles. English audio and the subs are taken from [EMBER](https://nyaa.si/view/1667462)'s release that uses the stuff from [sam](https://nyaa.si/user/pog42?f=0&c=0_0&q=chainsaw)'s release. I reencoded audio from FLAC to qAAC (saving space 😑). The title logo typesetting in the OP in episode 1 & 2 is updated from a later episode as well as synced the whole song lyrics. The rest should be fine as I didn't notice any other desync. The beginning of ep8 has updated dialogue lines which is the same scene from the end of ep7; I kept it as it is, prlly bcoz it's from a different perspective. I hope I didn't mess up anything. There's a subtitle track with Crunchyroll's dialogue with GJM's sign and a Signs & Songs track. I also renamed the chapter markers. [Mediainfo](https://pastebin.com/wXZBXJx2) So the rundown is: * Video track: 1080p HEVC 10 bits [VCB-Studio] #### * Audio track 1: Japanese 2.0 FLAC 24 bits --> qAAC TrueVBR127 <default> * Audio track 2: English 2.0 AAC CR WEB-DL #### * Subtitle track 1: Full Subtitles [GJM] <default> * Subtitle track 2: Full Subs [CR /w GJM TS] * Subtitle track 3: Signs & Songs #### * Chapters: YES. ## A few things I could say about the BDs is that it looks OK. There are some noticeable changes like some corrections here & there, change in color grading, the CG looks better, I guess? The puke is still censored unlike the manga (not that I want it uncensored.) The last episode should've been a one hour special. It didn't feel the hype it was opting for along with some other moments falling short. So, it sucks to be swallowing more than they could chew. MAPPA took a mix of L & W on this. But what it's worth, it is a good adaptation with some moments surpassing the manga IMO. *** Anyway, seed away. I might delete this after a while. And I should mention my net speed is really slow so it might take a while for someone else to start seeding. Update: Get [sam](https://nyaa.si/view/1698580)'s release since they've fixed some errors in the subs. (sad since it's too beeg, animetosho didn't fetch the subs & attachments) Until next time, y'all take care of yourselves.

I hope you do realize sam's web release is better than VCB's BD encode. But you probably haven't compared the two.
>I hope you do realize sam’s web release is better than VCB’s BD encode probably true but you clearly missed the part where they mentioned how the BD has animation fixes, etc.
The difference between encodes is way less noticeable than the difference between Web and BD sources. A decent BD encode will always win.
you'd be surprised how bad some BD encodes are, but i do think they always win if there are fixes
You're right, but generally, VCB encodes are fine. Not great but decent. So in this case, I believe they win because of the fixes.
> generally, VCB encodes are fine. lmao.
> probably true but you clearly missed the part where they mentioned how the BD has animation fixes, etc. Of course I missed it. I'm an ADHD zoomer with no attention span
You can't fix shit.
