Thank you for this release!
I wanted to ask and I know this might seem insane lol 🙈 but are you willing to do one piece USBD someday? if not I totally understand
@Marx1234 one day yes i would love to do it because i do have the DVDs of season 01 but sadly i just don't have the money to buy all the discs i had to have heart surgery like 2 months ago so all my money went to medical bills. the only reason i was able to get the final Set 8 of naruto is because i had it pre ordered for awhile
@Coolhardy100 I'm so sorry to hear that I hope you're feeling better and doing better 💕. I cant thank you enough for your amazing releases keep being awesome
Thank you for this upload. After having remuxed out 3 of the 4 audiotracks except for the Japanese DTS on every single episode and NCOPED. (And removing every English interview and trailer) The total filesize of this batch dropped from 350GB to 140GB. Saving me a lot of space.
@Century-Coloured-Zeta that's a lot of Work. but I'm glad you're enjoying the series in HD. the audio files were passthrough from the Blu-ray discs so you're getting the same audio quality as if you were playing the Blu-ray discs themselves
How do the BD subs compare to subs from JySzE?
EDIT: I like the official subs better. Less bloated, even if some dialogue nuance can be sometimes lost. So this is probably the best release on Nyaa right now.
Ok, lot's of misinformation with this one. Very messy release. A lot of this may very well be the fault of the official release and not this uploader. I fully have a right to critique this since I just spent 12 hours downloading it and backing it up onto a media server. I now have an investment of time and effort into this as well.
For one, these are not 1080p, the resolution was increased with absolutely no change to the picture quality itself. It's like upscaling video information, without actually upscaling the video itself. Maybe someone was confused as to how video resolution works? If you edit a number from 480 to 1080, it doesn't automatically make the video look like it's native 1080p, which seems to be the philosophy taken with this release.
You could argue the number in media info says that the resolution is higher, but the actual video track itself, the animation, is still the original 480p, and looks the same (even worse at times due to bad re-encoding). You can even see interlacing issues and ridiculously blurry animation problems with many episodes since they weren't re-encoded properly. This pointless filesize increase is a massive waste of space, as these 480p files have been inflated from what should be less than 200MB to 1.3-1.6GB on average.
Another complaint is the subtitle tracks are nonsense. For some reason each episode FORCES the Japanese subtitle track despite it seemingly being empty, which overrides media player settings that are trying to set the subtitles to English track by default. On top of this, you have 2 English tracks, but one is seemingly empty, so it's a waste and doesn't need to be there. Maybe one of them is supposed to be a music only track? If it was music only, it's usually customary to denote that as the track name; Example: [English - Music], rather than naming it the exact same thing as the other English track cryptically.
