It's not a sync issue. It's just that the ED ends abruptly as it is cut off, during the fading-out at the end of the track. It's synced just fine for the actual episode. I just thought that harsh unintended cut too jarring not to replace the audio with something that kept the end intact.

Seems like the dub also cuts off like the Japanese audio did.
