Are the English subs any different compared with the "Arupusu no Shoujo Haiji - Heidi, Girl of the Alps (neo1024 & passerby, BD1080p)" from Silver Zero Subs of 2014?
That's the one I have now. So, I wonder whether I should exchange that with this new one (smaller one, too) here?

Also, a comment on "German subs":
They truly are horrible, like some folks sitting around a kitchen table and reading the script, literally "reading" I mean.
Also, some voice ages are quite off for some characters. Strange. Otherwise the Germans are pretty good at dubbing.
That they did such a bad job with Heidi is remarkable, even though it was 50 years ago, almost, since Johanna Spyri's Heidi is one of the most famous children books in the German language.
@Jack: Thanks for your appreciation! The included English subs were taken from the 2014 torrent called 'Heidi blu-ray complete' by Silver Zero Subs, English translation credits: EricF & Heidi Fan. We've changed structure of the files in our torrent, text and styling remained. You can still download the subs for each individual episode of Silver's version on Animetosho, so you could compare them with the ones you have. Our RAW is from Kirion, a 720p Moozzi2 re-encode. Thanks for sharing your review of the German Heidi dub. I can imagine how bad it must sound!
