Just a general comment. Is there still a need to do 480P? Seems to be a waste of effort to me. Same with 720P, unless the source is 720P I don't see the point.

@toasterprime : Three weeks ago I had the same thoughts, then my fiber died and was stuck on 4G with limited bandwith.. I can tell you that 480p are a data saviour when it comes to 4G... & same goes for 720p ..

Yes, 480p is mainly targeted for mobile users who torrent on mobile and those with bandwidth limitations.

at least most people are smart enough to download 1080p these days. it used to be 720p got more downloads.

At times when I was away from home for couple of months it was very useful to have the 480p version since it takes less bandwidth and the difference is smaller on a phone screen. But also being a rip it just takes the versions available at the source so I don't see why not.

I agree wirh benroboxkiller, it's nice to have a light version. I do watch on mobile.
