I left both tracks because there appeared to be minor differences between them. Although they sound like the same line readings, the timings appear different and the special effects mix is different. Space Battleship Yamato is one of the all time great franchises in anime. The film is perhaps nothing special from a technical standpoint but it was still a much more concise way to experience the story of the original TV series.
