Behold! Yami no Matsuei for the modern times! About this project ------------------ This project sure brings back memories since this particular series was one of my first encodes ever shortly after co-founding Bakaneko no Litterbox [BakaNL] in 2003, a small group dedicated to dvdrip and some translations in my native language (which is Portuguese PT btw). Back then I used my R1 DVDs, which I still own, and encoded this stuff using DivX5 (those were strange times...) as well as OCRing the vobsubs into SRTs. The result was quite decent for the time, using OGM as the container and for a while I think it was the best version around. But nowadays it's rather outdated and since there's no decent modern version easily available (Seriti's only available on BakaBT and seems to have its problems), I decided to step up and deliver, once again. I used some raws I found on a russian tracker which came from R2J DVDs and the quality looks pretty nice when compared to R1 DVDs. What's done ----------- Like some of my other projects, I used scripts that were already available, in this case from the R1 DVDs making some minor adjustments, tweaks, timing and editing where needed. I added honorifics, OP/ED song lyrics, signs/notes and such as usual. What's not done --------------- This project is pretty much concluded. The video and subtitles are good enough for my liking but if any errors are present you can always blame the one peach army (or don't if you're a nice person, I don't care :P). If anyone wants to be kind enough (as usual) and add this release to AniDB, please do so. Place it under the group peachflavored.
