This is the best encode I can do today. All DVDISO sucks. Can I learn more in the future and do a better v3? Maybe. * **Source:** DVD9 ISO (R1) * [**Slowpoke Pics**](https://slow.pics/comparison/83a228bd-3605-4421-b832-31cf25af9769) * **Subtitles:** English: [TOMA] + some [low quality types](https://i.slow.pics/images/9aae930b-0947-472e-b2d9-90e1d80c1727/dea935b9-4828-4afc-95f5-66a9993d41a2.png) Português (Brasil): [OMDA] **To watch in full screen, use [mpv player](https://mpv.io/installation/) with [profile=gpu-hq](https://iamscum.wordpress.com/guides/videoplayback-guide/)** ![](https://i.imgur.com/IWPObQk.png)

@Seicher, hello. I found out about this rip by accident when I saw a comparison of screenshots in the topic "Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai!" on Rutracker :) It became very interesting for me to compare the filtering in your rip with my rip. I released my rip only on Rutracker (t=5280820), so you might not know about it. Here is a comparison - https://slow.pics/c/2mbsHkbX As you can see, there are a lot of blends left in your rip. There are fewer of them in my rip. Also in your rip there are problems with the picture in motion on scenes with a panorama. You probably used QTGMC without (or a bad) stabilization mask. In any case, I'm glad that someone is trying to make better such bad DVDs to such a good anime as Golden Boy! I redid my rip 3 times with new filters before the result began to satisfy me :)

Hello, Urotsuki! I've seen some of your work, I really like your encodes. I'm really not satisfied with my Golden Boy yet, I hope to improve him one day. it's hard to remove the blend, on other DVDs I don't have this problem :(
@Seicher Well. If you want to improve your rip in the future, and not use my rip for your project, I can advise you to see the filters from the page "real.finder's Avisynth Stuff" on the doom9 forum. For example, to remove the blends I used `AnimeIVTC (2, bbob = 5, extbob = MC_A_bob)` Now, after 2 years, I could improve my filtering a little more, but I no longer find it appropriate ...

Oh, thanks! Currently I only use Vapoursynth, but for old anime Avisynth seems to have more options, maybe I will learn AVS later.
Indeed, I forgot to clarify about the frameserver you are using :) On Vapoursynth it is now hardly possible to do something similar, since I did not see the necessary filters ported to it. I started by using Avisynth. But for filtering BD switched to Vapoursynth about 2 years ago. For filtering DVDs I continue either using only one Avisynth, or combining it with Vapoursynth. If BD has interlacing with a variable frame rate, then I do deinterlacing through Avisynth too :)
