The most ultimate rip of an anime soundtrack you will ever download. This is for the 1987 anime film, not the recent 2009 TV series that sucks. The music is a creative blend of Japanese folk, electronic, and ambient created by Yellow Magic Orchestra band member Haruomi Hosono. Both the CD and vinyl contain the same tracks. Which one sounds better? The CD of course, with its sharper high-end and dynamic range. The vinyl is warmer, more subdued and has that characteristic crackle. Both versions are interesting IMO.
