"Project on?" I've copied this lines from the title screen. As you could notice, they're using quotes from the show there. Aniplex translated it a bit differently, but I've changed the line for the sake of consistency.

By project on they mean hosting a spirit inside yourself like a priestess, as the conext of the explanation provides. And I don't know, the magic stuff is actually very interesting. This show even has an actual occult researcher for this kind of stuff.
