After losing her parents in a car accident, Okko goes to live in the countryside with her grandmother, who runs a traditional inn near an ancient spring said to have healing waters. Okko soon discovers there are spirits living there only she can see – welcoming ghosts who keep her company, play games and help her navigate her new environment. Okko strives to be a gracious host, and this is soon put to the test by a string of challenging guests with different stories. But ultimately Okko discovers that dedicating herself to others becomes the key to taking care of herself, in this beautiful tale from Kitaro Kosaka, who was a key animator on numerous classic films at the venerable Studio Ghibli.

BTW, uploader here, I put this up as a remux because I’m not in the scene and definitely not an expert at encoding anime so I figured the most helpful I could be is to provide a raw source so others can make high-quality more accessibly-sized files. Sorry for those who have to wait for reasons of storage or bandwidth but I can trust it’ll be worth it compared to if I had done the encode

@motbob The credits at the end of the movie say the sub translation is by Simona Stanzani and the dub version was produced by Stephanie Sheh, Michael Sinterniklaas, Jorge Soto, and Rodney Uhler from a script adapted by Michael Schneider.
@Keigo_Kakiguchi I can upload them to Subscene in a couple of hours, however this version of the movie has logos and credits on both ends that mean it most likely will not sync up with versions of movie from other distributors
