Mux it all together and you know that it's the best of both worlds,
Re-encoded the video to x265 10-bit too, so it's not outrageously large.

Sorry by HD I simply meant that it was 720p. SD is 480p and 576p while HD is 720p and 1080p, no? I didn't say it was a HD/BD rip.
Pretty sure the raw source is a DVD upscale yeah, I know some people don't like those and there other releases available to them in that case.
As for the re-encoding I did, the source and product look and sound pretty much identical, except for that the colours may look a little different(better IMO) in the product because it's 10-bit as opposed to the source's 8-bit, so I thought it was okay. But I am relatively new to this so do let me know exactly why it's atrocious and tell me how to better it if possible please.
He's right. You did a re-encode of a bad upscale. I compared screens I captured from the first episode of your release to Ondeed, and the quality of this re-encode is greatly inferior to Ondeed's encode which has the correct intended native resolution from the DVD. https://nyaa.si/view/449955
Mottoj's release is also much better(it's not native res though), and includes the English dub files separately for anyone who needs them.

"the encoding is atrocious."
It is because the encode used at first is from [Sakura-Raws], out of the batch the link in description is pointing to. They are definitely not good DVD upscaled encodes. More pixels doesn't mean the picture will be better and some people know how to do it and others don't. I guess they would look the same than those for Dai-Guard. It is the kind of encode you keep only when there's no other option at all. By luck, this is not the case here.
