It's the Dragon Box GT encodes so it should be 720x480, iirc. Looks really good but personally prefer GT remuxes with the OBA/dubs. I've seen "1080p" rips on the web of GT to try and make it HD-ish but it's still inferior to the Dragon Box GT. ?

Right, the first 22 are the batch they released after everything else was done, and the rest were individual files I got as they were releasing it.

@Vindico @sangofe Okay, but you haven't responded to comments and no one knew if you were still working on it. That's why they released this. Had we known, this wouldn't have been put up.

I'm downloading this cause sometimes people say they're releasing something better and for whatever reason it doesn't happen, plus I have unlimited gigabit internet with more storage than I know what to do with so why not

GTeam is not dead. never has been dead. no plans to be dead anytime soon. in fact we've got some plans for what we will do after GT, that's how certain we are that we wil continue on. only thing holding us back is a critical team member got busy for a while a while ago and so work has only just been able to resume. but i assure you we are not dead. may i also request that the uploader remove the "[GTeam]" tag from the name of this torrent? it's a little annoying to have some pacakged-up thing of our old stuff with the first batch of new stuff appearing as a "full series batch" alongside our releases that we actually put out ourselves. @KingOfBunnies - every time someone asks, we comment in response and re-explain that we're still working on it. just because we missed yours for a while doesn't mean we've suddenly died since the last person asked us. we just haven't looked at the nyaa comments sections since you posted your comment. sorry if this sounds passive-aggressive but this situation is quite annoying to me if i'm to be completely honest. i don't mind our old files being available so people can get those while we continue to have trouble pulling together the other batches, but calling us dead, naming this in the style of the main GTeam releases... it annoys me. maybe it's irrational, idk. still annoys me. i'm happy we have fans who eagerly await our releases, and rest assured more is on the way.

I've checked the picture quality of this compared to the original dragon box. It's really really close. Still, if you guys are still working on it I believe it might be a fair request for an intact video remux release as mpeg2. I assume that in this day and age of fast internet people that can download a 50GB set would also be able to get a 89GB. The audio is way better compared to the dragon box but it would be good idea to have the option to switch from one to another. So what I'm requesting is, can we get a remux version? I tried doing so myself but discs 1,5,6,7 are corrupted on my end and I can't seem to find a source of those or else I would mux the audio from the project to my own personal remux.

Two years later: I bet GTeam still won't admit they just got bored and gave up LOL

It’s not about being bored, boob. We had every intention to finish the remastered v2’s but Vindico’s hard drives died and he didn’t have online backups. Daburasbeard has since then quit. It’s not a laughing situation at all. But rather a sad one. We’ve given Ikaos permission to use our work and I personally hope they do good work on DBGT.

As a total outsider to the situation, it looks to me that DaburasBeard's comments did NOT age well. The people questioning the health of the project were not wrong or rude to do so.
