This also appears to be the directoral debut of Hayato Date, who might be best known for directing Naruto. Each episode is 15 worth of animation, followed by 30+ minutes of behind-the scenes Voogie’s Angels stuff. Kashira, kashira, gozonji kashira? I’m kashira-ing why there’s an Utena parody in there, that’s pretty fun. But I’m also kashira-ing why the one girl in the live action segment is wearing a shit with the word “CATAMITE” emblazoned on it. I suspect most native English speakers don’t know that word – the only reason I know it is from reading L. Ron Hubbard books in 8th grade – so I guess I can forgive a non-native speaker wearing it.
