By RyuKo. File was modified to fix a video seeking issue - seeking would often fail and result in a stuck frame on screen. Fix was applied by running "ffmpeg -err_detect ignore_err -i video.mkv -c copy video_fixed.mkv" on the file. Note: Second episode ends 5 seconds early, before music cuts and fades to black.

Unfortunately, it seems the same is true for the original (non-fixed) version. I tracked down another encode, and it fades to black literally right after that, then straight to credits.
