The 22nd movie, entitled "Zero the Enforcer", premiered in Japanese theaters on April 13, 2018. Its popularity and ticket sales exceeded even that of the previous movie to set the new record of the highest selling movie of the franchise. The movie required detailed knowledge of the structure of the Japanese police system on both regional and national levels, and the research of which is one of the reasons the movie took us a month to release from the time the Blu-ray was delivered to us. Thus, all the divisions of the police in the movie use the official English translation from their official webpages, and the other Japanese legal-related things in the movie came from the website of a professional bilingual Japanese attorney who specializes in international law. Like our other recent releases, there's another first: this is the first time Mocha was used for motion tracking the typesets (and jmaeshawn tells me he used this extensively). Timing, translating, typesetting and the ending karaoke was done by jmaeshawn. Encoding was done by WinxBloom1980 (betcha didn't expect to see that handle on a Kienai sub!) Puto provided the video that became the model for the English title logo. Thanks to Puto and Mamo-chan for also doing QC. (So...what's a Baaro name doing on a Kienai sub? Well, Licca at Baaro and jmaeshawn at Kienai have been working on improving some of the older Detective Conan subtitles, including upgrades to earlier subs and the completely new subs of older eps that Baaro is best known for. Among the things you'll probably be seeing soon is episode 384, an episode that had some technical problems when Kienai's predecessor subtitled it...406-408 is well underway too...and a bunch of other eps are still to come!)
