# DRAGON BALL MUSIC LIBRARY
This project was compiled by Isaac to commemorate the _tenth anniversary of Portuguese animation community **GoldTugAnime**_ (although there were some delays due to various factors).
## I. Original Soundtracks
Unless explicitly stated otherwise (in the Readme.txt file), each of these lossless rips was made by Isaac from genuine official physical discs.
In every single instance, the rip quality was (twice!) painstakingly verified with Exact Audio Copy, AccurateRip and CueTools Database. This is because the error correction features of the CD Audio standard are ancient and very prone to failure.
Extensive metadata based on online databases such as Kanzenshuu and the Japanese Wikipedia (but correcting quite a few mistakes found therein) was carefully inserted and directly checked against the CD booklets themselves. This includes the name and number of each track, the respective artist(s), songwriter(s), composer(s), and arranger(s), as well as info such as album name, release date, and label; in the original language, a transliterated version, and an English translation.
For each CD there is also a cue sheet with the tracks' ISRC codes, indices, gap info and other data, so that anyone can burn and recreate 1:1 exact copies (yes, with the original Table of Contents' mistakes and all...) of these discs, many of which are extremely rare and long out of print. (To do this, just run ImgBurn with the madFLAC decoder, *keeping all the filenames as they are and each file in its respective folder*; then, in write mode, simply open the CUE file and follow the instructions. Remember to use high quality CD-R media!).
However, most of the scans found here are the ones already available online in places like VGMdb; only whenever no suitable cover image (and only the cover) existed was there a reason to scan it.
Excluding the forgettable Dragonball Evolution and the more recent "Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters" singles and Dragon Ball Super (which, of course, you can easily find elsewhere, and this project is focused on the more "classical" stuff anyway), literally all *official* Dragon Ball songs ever released in Japan are here.

## II. Music extracted from video games
Almost every Dragon Ball game released to this day is present.
Unless mentioned otherwise (in the Readme.txt file), rippers are unknown; if you know who they are, feel free to point it out; however, most of these sets come from FFShrine. With a couple of exceptions, covers were compiled from around the web.
