Complaining about "otaku" or "fujoshi" makes as much sense at this point as complaining about "samurai" or "sushi". They are defined well enough to stand on their own as terms at this point, and especially "fujoshi" doesn't have any clear/concise English translation. Bitching about "shouchuu" is equivalent to bitching about not translating "vodka" from the Russian. Booze is the universal language of mankind and alcohol names should be pronounced as close to the original word as possible (except for beer.. Beer frequently has it's own local word, usually related to bread.)
